Eco mailers made from corn starch are typically designed to be durable enough for packaging and shipping items, but their strength can depend on various factors such as the thickness and quality of the material. We use 60-micron thickness ABAP cornstarch resin. This material is suitable for home composting and very strong and durable for posting most items.
However, it’s important to note that corn starch mailers are biodegradable and not as strong as traditional plastic mailers, so they may not be suitable for heavy or fragile items that require extra protection during shipping.
